Tips: This product helps to eliminate over watering and under watering which are the most common mistakes that harm the health of indoor plants and allows you to leave your plants for extended periods of time with out drying out. Other conditions to consider include light, soil, and temperature which also may affect the health of your indoor plants. Depending on your plant's growth you may need to water the plant from the top a week apart several times until the roots establish themselves in the growth zone. We recommend changing the soil and wick of your container once a year to keep the soil in good condition. Should the wick unravel, you can replace it with any twined/braided nylon or natural fiber. If you should forget and let your plant completely dry out and the water camel is empty, water from above until the water runs down the wick into the water camel to restart the process. If you choose to fertilize your plant, dilute the liquid fertilizer to approximately 1/4 or less.
